A Poética d[a]tração

Hundreds of fine threads, strung with crystal, fan out across a room. The suspended field shifts with the body moving through it, light catching each point of contact. It has been restaged many times since a first version at Morte das Tenso, through MAC-USP, MuBE, Instituto Cervantes, UFSJ-Minas, WaterFront and TGI.

Percursos

Ritmo e progressão dentro de sala expositiva (rhythm and progression within an exhibition room). A research project developed under Prof. Silvio Melcer Dworecki, tracing the crystal-and-thread technique from a hand-built maquette to a full-scale structure tested outdoors against the city skyline. This is where the method behind A Poética d[a]tração began.

Casa das Idéias

A cascade of faceted glass beads gathers to a single point above a black room, shown alongside a taut lattice of chain and mesh. Both are variations on tension and gravity, grown from the same body of research.

Casa Z

An outdoor tensioned sail catches a shifting light projection above a garden gathering, folding architecture, colour and company into a single structure.

[des]Dobramentos

Folded paper polyhedra, self-assembled and suspended beneath a coffered concrete ceiling. The origami-based structure disperses through architectural space, read from below as a field in slow motion.

Memorial da América Latina, São Paulo

Memorial da América Latina

A grid-printed fabric form curves against Oscar Niemeyer's concrete, its long shadow stretching across the pavement at dusk. The geometry is drawn from the body and set against architecture.

Tensegrity

A red tensioned sail hangs from a coffered concrete ceiling on slender yellow poles. It is a tensegrity structure, holding its form through balance rather than rigidity.

MuBE

Suspended Star

Illuminated acrylic rods interlock into a walk-through star, a performer reaching up to hold one rod in place. The structure is completed by the body moving through it.
